Amy Bento's Hi-Lo Xtreme |
    Wow! |
| Ok, this workout is good for 2 reasons, the cardio really kicks your butt, and the circuit premixes, which we all know, is the new thing. I have to say though, you need some time for this, because ya have to do it over and over again just to get the coreography. I get it that she wants to keep your heart rate up the whole time, but come on, at least tell us whats coming next before it comes!! I mainly use this for the premixed circuits............enough said! - posted by Jess on 8/19/2008 |

    Awful |
| This workout is terrible! Does Amy have any control of her filming staff? If not, I can not totally blame her. They cut off her legs from the picture. You can't follow what she is doing if you can't see her feet. The music is terrible. The fact that you have to hear what she says to keep up, you can't put music of your own on. Well, that I guess doesn't even matter since her cuing is off. Can she count? It appears that she makes it up as she goes along, because she doesn't tell you what she is going to do until she does it. It is a shame, because she actually adds a bonus to the dvd by including portions of all pump strength and her strength dvds are pretty good. - posted by j on 7/14/2008 |

    Tough workout! |
| This is one tough workout. I am an advanced exerciser who loves Cathe Friedrich's videos, so I wanted a video that competed with her advanced level. I had a bit of trouble learning the choreography, but after I rewound the tough segments a few (hundred) times, I was able to catch on (I'm no dancer, after all!). It's nice to be able to do a video that keeps my heartrate up at the level of a tough jog outside. I highly recommend this video. - posted by Teresa on 6/3/2008 |

    Good Workout |
| There is nothing wrong with this workout. For the experienced video exerciser it's easy enough to follow. There are some moves where you go forward, backward, or diagonally. If you don't have the room, you can modify it to do it in place, or just side to side. The intensity is intermediate to advanced, about at the level of Cathe Friedrich. You will work up quite a sweat, but it's definitely doable. There are several premixes different in length and a couple of them have weight segments from All Pump Extreme mixed with the cardio segments from this workout which gives you lots of variety. - posted by dusty on 6/2/2008 |

    My New Favorite |
| I am fairly new to Amy's dvd's but I love the two that I have, this one and Kickbox Extreme. This work-out is definitely challenging and fast-paced. I was able to get the choreography down after my first couple of times but it is a little tricky in places. I like that though, it keeps the work-out interesting for me. I also love having all the mix options, it's like having 9 work-outs on one dvd, especially with the APX mixes which includes strength training. Amy is so motivating and energetic, she is fun to watch. I highly recommend this dvd. - posted by Alyssa on 5/11/2008 |

    Okay |
| The cardio is just okay. I agree w/other posts that the intervals between when you really work and it's less dancey are a better cardio workout. I do like the all pump premixes, though, so I gave it 4 stars for that reason. It does require a lot of space, but I have learned to modify for that. - posted by J on 5/9/2008 |

    Good Workout |
| This is a high energy workout. I love Amy's enthusiasm. It takes a couple of run throughs to get all the moves down. I do agree with the other reviewers that this workout does take a lot of room. For that reason I didn't give it 5 stars, because unless I'm in the mood to move furniture, I don't use this DVD that often. - posted by Lineese on 4/23/2008 |

    Definitely a learning curve |
| Amy's Hi Lo are just about the only cardio I like doing nowadays. The music is motivating, good cuing, even for a klutz like me, and Amy's energy is contagious. This workout is a space hog, but even though I may not have as much space, I make it work for me and I'm usually sweating buckets by the time it's over. - posted by CD on 4/1/2008 |

    Eh.... |
| The only thing I liked about this workout were the intervals in between each combo. I like basic moves though, nothing fancy or dancy. - posted by Mandee on 3/28/2008 |
