Time graph for Attitude Tu: Ballet Pilates Fusion
A graceful, dancers’ workout that starts with all-standing ballet exercises and ends with Pilates matwork. It’s a varied and balanced combination that increases core strength as it firms your entire body. The first segment features a medley of traditional ballet exercises like pliés, relevés and cursey lunges (sometimes modified to incorporate upper-body resistance band routines). Then it’s down on the floor for a mix of two Pilates styles: classic Pilates and Pilates intensified with a weighted ball. Calm, detailed cuing by Bernadette Giorgi. Quiet instrumental music. Requires a resistance band; a 1 to 5 lb. weighted ball is optional. Has a 14-minute ballet and Pilates tutorial. Requires a stability ball. ©2008. DVD has: Chapter menus.

Attitude Tu: Ballet Pilates Fusion

Best workout DVD's I've ever used!
Hi Bernadette, Your DVD's are wonderful. They are the best I have ever used and I have used many over the years! Your explanation of and direction for each move are easy to follow, even for those of us who are less experiened in this type of workout. I really enjoy reading your newsletter, too. It's very motivating; full of helpful tips and great information for staying "fit." Thanks so much for sending it. Well I'm leaving work now and hope to go home and "work out with you" tonight! :-) Sheryl - posted by Sheryl on 11/17/2008
" Attitude Tu" Ballet Pilates Fusion
Bernadette Giorgi has produced an exercise video which demonstrates the beauty of Pilates; the secret to maintaining a youthful, toned and flexible body. Her passion for the art of Pilates is evident with her desire to share the refined movements which define with finesse a well structured core. The graceful ballet movements build muscle with an emphasis on posture and balance. Finally an exercise video that addresses the whole body for a lifetime of positive results. I am an extremely athletic woman, who has incorporated the Pilates Fusion aspect into my work out and have noticed an amazing difference with the tone of my body and an improvement with my posture. The "Attitude Tu" Ballet Pilates Fusion video with the guidance of Bernadette Giorgi presents an innovative way of developing the perfect body! - posted by Joanie on 9/10/2008

Attitude Tu develops your both your inner and outer beauty
I just love Bernadette's new Attitude Tu. I've thoroughly enjoyed her first dvd and was quite content with it, but have to say that her new one bumps things up a notch or two. There is a bit more of an aerobic element to this one, with the use of the bands and weighted ball. The band is awesome for your sholders and arms, but also helps to remind you to pay attention to your core while doing the standing work. The bands also help with balance while doing those side lunges. I just feel so graceful while I'm doing the standing workout, and at the same time know I'm getting a powerful workout, all over. The mat work is amazing. The mat attitudes work out your lower abdomen like nothing else, and her oblique and side lying series rocks! Calm cuing, visual appeal, inspirational quotations between sets, serene music, and a nice post workout stretch, all make for a workout that I look forward to and feel ten times better after having done it, in both body and spirit. Thank you Bernadette, and also to her beavy of beauties behind her! - posted by June on 7/13/2008
A Valuable substitute for when I am unable to attend class
There are a few reasons why I enjoy Bernadette's methods of teaching. One is the variety of equipment and actual exercises. I never feel like I'm constantly repeating the same thing. Another reason is the way Bernadette talks you through the work out. I find myself correcting myself as she gives pointers on the proper form and movement as we go through the exercise. Doing the tape/class is a total body workout. When I am done, not only do I feel as though I've worked hard and are more aware of my posture but I actually enjoyed it!! - posted by Merle on 7/10/2008
Attitude Tu
There are so many things that I enjoy when doing Bernadette's video. First and most importantly Bernadette's instruction is very easy to follow and keeps me motivated. She is a master at what she does! I love how she uses a variety of props. I found that my legs have benefited the most. As a personal trainer, I would highly recommend this to all my clients! - posted by Tara on 7/9/2008

Love the workout. Studying dance with a focus on Ballet for more than 30 years this workout applies the training used to "find your center" or core muscles as in Pilates focusing on controlled and deliberate movements. Adding bands and weighted balls helps to build strength and establish balance. This workout leaves me walking, standing and sitting taller throughout my day. - posted by Monna on 7/9/2008
Be the dancer you always wanted to be in the privacy of your home,
I enjoy watching the always graceful Bernadette and pretend I look the same but in reality... I found this workout extremely helpful in firming my "older" arms and stomach. When following the video routinely, I find a marked increase in my energy level. An excellent full body workout. - posted by Sandy on 7/9/2008
Great workout
I really liked Bernadette's Attitude video. But, this Attitude Tu is even better. I have been taking pilates classes twice a week for about 4 years. I especially liked working with the bands and balls. The bands are great for resistance and using the balls really help me focus on using the right muscles. It was a really great total body workout, with a great concentration on the abs. - posted by Dorothy on 7/9/2008
