Time graph for Chair Dancing Around The World
All-sitting workouts with an upbeat/lively instructor, a bright/colorful set and an obviously-having-fun class (a diverse, all-sizes, all-shapes, all-ages group). You’ll burn calories and build stamina with non-stop arm patterns and/or easy leg motions (all at a genuinely aerobic pace). For variety, the music and moves come from around the world (e.g. a cute Mexican “hat dance” series or a vigorous country western “galloping horse” routine). The level and body-position options let you adapt the workout to your own physical ability. And Jodi Stolove’s positive attitude and clear cuing provide great motivation. ©1996. Chair Dancing Around The World

Updated review
Even though I am now healed and no longer need to use this, I still throw it in the mix every once in awhile for a fun, light workout. I have even done this workout with an aging parent and my husband and we had so much fun laughing and exercising together. I highly recommend this workout for children, aging parents, injuries, overweight beginners, and anyone who wants to have fun moving! - posted by Injured on 8/21/2008
Invigorating and interesting
I enjoyed this video while waiting for a sprained ankle to heal. It was peppy and more challenging than I had expected. The choreography is fun and makes the 45 minutes go fast. - posted by Susan on 4/3/2008
Exactly what I was looking for!
I recently injured my ankle and was told to stay off it for 6-12 weeks. Having been an intermediate-low advanced exerciser for over 5 years, I was depressed at not being able to walk, rebound, do yoga, AWT, or kickboxing. I wanted to do some type of exercise that wouldn't injure me more, would get my heart rate up, and -most importantly, lift my spirits. I saw the Chair Dancing workouts in the Collage catalog and ordered two of them right away. I tried this one first-it was so much fun! At first it looked silly and cheesy-and it is, but it had me smiling and laughing, made me sweat a little, and got my circulation going. It is 45 minutes long, uses two paper plates, has three difficulty levels-easy to modify around an injury and perfect for anyone out of shape or overweight. There are people of all ages and sizes doing the workout and they all look like they are having a blast. Really made me smile and feel better. Can't wait to try other Chair Dancing workouts. I'm very surprised Collage doesn't list this as a favorite-it is very uplifting and fun, and way more aerobic than Sit and Be Fit. I really enjoyed this workout. - posted by Injured on 1/3/2008

A Surprise!
This video was a such a surprise! I bought it for my 75 year old Mother, but reviewed it before I gave it to her. Well, I'll be the first to tell you that I never thought anyone could get a workout while sitting on their rump, but this video proved me wrong! My legs actually felt like I had walked a mile and my heart rate did go up. The music was invigorating and so was the visual aspect of the background set. I also liked the fact that she had people from all walks of life in the video. I liked this video so much, that I almost didn't give it to my mother! Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
