Dance Off the Inches Sizzling Salsa |
    Love this workout!!!! |
| This video is amazing! The moves are so fun and easy to follow. I am a salsa dancer and I appreciate how Stella takes latin steps and modifies them for a great calorie burning workout. It's nice to see a latina leading an exercise video which makes it feel so much more fun authentic! - posted by Jennifer on 7/21/2008 |

    Lacks Authenticity |
| I had felt disappointed by the lack of complexity and plastic-smile presentation of Dance Off the Inches: Cardio Dance Jam and Tummy Tone Party Zone, but I bought Sizzling Salsa because I have come to love Latin dance workouts and wanted to learn more. Unfortunately, I felt disappointed again for the same reasons. I picked up this video after having mastered Jennifer Galardi's "Crunch: Fat Burning Dance Party" and "Prevention: Dance It Off", both of which have Latin sections; Vanessa Isaac's "Samba Party #1" and Brazilian Dance Workout; and having tried but not being able to keep up with Lisa Nunziella's "Red Hot Salsa Made Simple". After actually having learned to do the samba from Isaac and finding it quite simple, I was surprised to see Sizzling Salsa's watered-down version of the dance, not to mention the salsa itself. Perhaps I need to lighten up, but I feel that this video misrepresents Latin Dance. That being said, however, absolute beginners of Latin Dance are given an adequate foundation to build upon. I strongly encourage new-comers who enjoy this workout to move on to the challenging, exciting, and authentic videos of Galardi, Isaac, and Nunziella. - posted by Elena on 3/16/2008 |

This is a fabulous workout |
| I have been on a weight loss & exercise regimen since the beginning of the year. I needed a new DVD to vary my workouts. I am so glad I picked this one! Stella is an excellent instructor. She's always friendly and motivating. She gets your heart rate up quickly and gives you some fun arm movements, too. I would recommend this video to anyone who likes Latin dance workouts. I love this video! - posted by Melissa on 3/11/2008 |

5 Reason to Love this Video! |
| 1) Fun, fun, fun! the time flies by! 2) You will work up a sweat. 3) The choreography is interesting enough for an experienced dancer, but simple enough for a beginner to learn. (I'm a 47 year old former dancer) 4) The dance steps have a great flow to them, no awkwardness and no sudden stops. It just flows really well. 5) This video is great to help loosen up a stiff lower back and to help whittle down your waistline. In fact I would recommend doing the step guide, not because the steps are difficult, but because it's great exercise in itself for the lower back and waist. Only one minor complaint. I wish Stella repeated some of the dances on both sides. On some of the combinations she did, but not on all of them. It's best to strengthen both sides of the body not mention challenge the mind to reverse the steps. I recommend doing this video in sock feet if you are on carpet or in a dance or jazz shoe of some type. Doing all the twisting steps in athletic shoes can be hard on the ole bod! - posted by Stacey on 10/11/2007 |

Fun although not SUPER challenging... |
| I just did this video for the first time today and had lots of fun. The time flew by! It wasn't really challenging, but was nice for a fun change of pace. - posted by Michele on 7/26/2007 |

Is there such a thing as uber-beginner |
| Fun, incredibly light workout. I've tried it several times, and my dvd's range from Cathe (hardest) to this one. I like dance dvd's a lot because they're fun, but this one just doesn't get my heart rate up enough to make it worthwhile to do. On the plus side, Stella seems friendly and upbeat, the choreography is incredibly simple, and they have a step guide! I would never have guessed this dvd would need a step guide. The first step she shows you how to do is a hip sway. If you can't sway your hips without a guide, you might be better off on the treadmill. :D - posted by Cary on 7/12/2007 |

Love Stella, but workout is beginner |
| I loved Stella, her energy and enthusiasm are great, but the workout to me was beginner-level. I had taken Latin dance lessons for several years and hoped this workout would help fill in that gap. I liked the content of the workout, but the 3 sections were too long, I wish they'd been shorter so that a 4th section could haved been included. I hope Stella will instruct an intermediate workout that moves along at a faster pace. - posted by on 6/17/2007 |

I Love to Dance to this Video |
| Wow - I have lost 15 pounds in about 6 weeks using this and another video. I have been very frustrated in the past with exercise programs that take a lot of time, doing things I don't like to do. Learning great moves, coordination and the aerobics - I never got anything even close to this from boring old yoga. And I love all the dancers on this video. - posted by Kim on 5/29/2007 |

| Very Fun, easy to follow |
| I was hesitant about purchasing this as it was at a beginner level. I really enjoyed it, wished it were longer! I played it over again to get a longer workout. For me, none of the dancers were annoying/distracting. They all represent a style or coordination people have. What I got out of it is they were having fun, and that's what I want to see. The comment about how bland Michelle's outfit was, all I have to say is, you should see what I wear when I workout at home. Hopefully, Stella will do another one with a longer workout. - posted by Cardius on 4/9/2007 |
