Time graph for Dance Workout for Dummies
Two compact fat-burners designed for anyone who’s “dance challenged.” Don’t worry, this program will get you feelin’ the music and rockin’ to your own style (even if you don’t know a grapevine from a box step). To make it easy, Michelle LeMay always starts at half-tempo and then boosts the intensity. She also demos a base move before adding on (or you can just stick with the base move). Plus, there are on-screen options, technique tips and terminology explanations (e.g. “what’s a grapevine?”). In addition, the DVD includes a 20-minute tutorial showing every move. As Michelle says, “just let go of any previous feelings that you can’t dance!” ©2007. DVD has: Chapter menus.

Dance Workout for Dummies

I am not a dancer...
But this was wonderful! I love to dance and do well if it is free form but throw some organized steps at me and I turn into a klutz! Michelle LeMay is one of my favorites for her dance inspired yoga stretch routines and she is just as good with this! Easy to follow first she breaks the step down, then half time and then at tempo. Fun and easy and if you are more than a beginner at aerobics you can simply put in more hip movement and raise your arms above your heart! I HIGHLY recommend this video for fun and exercise! - posted by Sassy on 2/22/2008

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

You can play only the individual workout segments you want by picking them off a chapter menu (one at a time).
