    Great info for diabetics |
| I bought this for my father, who was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes after a stroke. He has since recovered completely from the stroke, but of course now has the diabetes to control. Soon after the stroke, I loaned him several Leslie dvds which he did and I credit her with helping him regain his balance after the stroke. I like this dvd because it speaks directly to diabetics.     Exercise is the Key |
| I have been exercising with Leslie Sansone's videos for about 3 or 4 years now. As a diabetic, I found that exercise is the key for me to maintain good control. I have had varying success with my eating - so my weight hasn't really changed very much (and yes I do need to lose weight), but since I started exercising 6 days a week with Leslie's Walking workouts my HA1C went from 7.6 which is dangerously high to 6.1 which is very good control. And although, I do her 1, 2, 3 and 4 mile workouts now, at first I was just doing 1 mile a day. So even a little exercise can make a huge difference. I really like this DVD because it is addressed specifically to diabetics. I enjoy hearing the other exercisers' success stories and as always Leslie is very motivating and inspiring. The great thing about Leslie's videos is anyone can do them and as she always says, "you can't do it wrong just as long as you keep moving". - posted by Michele on 5/18/2008 |
