Time graph for Runervals Cheetah Fast!
A well-produced, advanced-level program (one of the exercisers is even an Olympic runner). It features pyramid sets — bursts that gradually increase from 30 to 60 to 90 to 120 seconds and then back down again. Troy Jacobson, your instructor, is a no-nonsense motivator (“push, push, drive up that hill”). Bright, airy, indoor setting. Requires a power-incline treadmill since you adjust your intensity both by speed and incline. ©2001. DVD has: Chapter menus.

Runervals Cheetah Fast!

Good workout but very tough
I just wanted to note that this video is for intermediate/advanced RUNNERS, not necessarily intermediate/advanced exercisers. I run 4 - 5 days a week and I do advanced cardio/weight videos on my non-running days, and this video was well beyond my running abilities. I modified the speeds so that I could complete it, and it will be a good goal to work toward, but it is definitely targeted toward more advanced runners. Even though I run regularly, I am not a fast enough runner to keep up with this workout yet. - posted by Dorine on 9/14/2008
Fantastic!
Incredible workout. You will suffer, but it will be well worth it. - posted by Christine on 1/30/2008
You get more than you asked for
This workout is super. You can modify speed, incline, etc to accomodate the workout. You will not get bored with this and is a great training video. Well worth the money. I've been running for 7 years and it continues to challenge me. - posted by Suzanne on 4/25/2007
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
