It includes two separate arthritis programs that focus on flexibility and range-of-motion for all your joints. Both workouts feature gentle stretch, flexibility and toning exercises (mostly seated, some standing). The first workout uses two balls. One is similar to a volleyball; it’s used for large muscle movements (e.g. arms and legs). The other ball is similar to a golf ball; it’s used for finger exercises. The second program is the same workout that’s on Mary Ann’s originally 1993 VHS “Arthritis” tape; it does not require any special equipment. In addition to the Arthritis-specific moves, you also get medical information about Arthritis. The workout is led by Mary Ann Wilson, a registered nurse and star of PBS’s “Sit and Be Fit” series. ©2007 & 1993.
