Tracey Staehle's Core Blast |
    Good Solid Ab Workout. |
| I thoroughly enjoyed Core Blast. I own a variety of Ab tapes and workouts that contain Ab sections and I thought that this workout was challenging and fun. To avoid boredom I enjoy wide variety in my workouts and this workout will have a place in my rotation. Although I do Ab work 4-5 times weekly, I definitely felt as though my abs were worked and challenged. - posted by Denise on 10/22/2008 |

    Save your money |
| I agree with the people who said Core Blast is more like a warm-up than a workout. It’s far too easy and not nearly as good as Tracey’s first core workout. Pass on this one! - posted by Cate on 8/20/2008 |

This is no Core Max! |
| I agree with those who say Tracey can’t hold a candle to Cathe when it comes to ab work. And I can’t believe people are actually comparing Core Blast to Core Max – they are like chalk and cheese! Core Max is well-designed and time-efficient which is a lot more than you can say for Core Blast. What a waste of time this DVD turned out to be! - posted by Erica on 8/20/2008 |

    Tried to like it |
| Well, I respect Collage's opinion too but that doesn't mean I can't express my honest reactions to this workout! I did it 4 or 5 times and really tried to like it, but didn't feel I was getting much core work done. I certainly didn't feel a "burn" or DOMs like others claim. It is in no way comparable to Core Max or Tracey's first core workout. As well, using equipment for only 5 minutes was fiddly, and Tracey's non-stop chat got on my last nerve. I was so glad I was able to trade this DVD. - posted by Madeleine on 8/18/2008 |

    I respect Collage's opinion |
| I am glad to see Collage found in this workout the merit that many earlier customer reviews indicate. Collage rates this DVD a Staff Favorite. They have resepcted standing and sucess in this business. Tastes do differ, but a veteran like collage is unlikely to be so far off the mark as to give a truly bad workout a Favorite rating or overlook serious issues. As I understand it Collage does not even carry all videos they are approached with. - posted by Ellen on 8/8/2008 |

I agree that this is a warmup, not a workout! |
| I am an intermediate exerciser and I don't think I have particularly strong abs, but this entire workout was *way* too easy for me. I kept waiting for the warmup to finish so we could get on with the real workout! Let's face it - if you need to do the full 45 minutes of a core workout to get a "burn" it can't be a very good workout. - posted by Lani on 8/7/2008 |

Couldn't stand the constant chatter |
| I've heard a lot about how this latest series of Tracey workouts allowed her personality to "shine" but in all of them so far, she is plain annoying, talking all the time and making inappropriate remarks. And why does she say "I talk too much" then keep talking? Nor did I appreciate her constantly saying how much the other girls "hated" her. As someone else said, this isn't exactly the kind of thing you want to hear when you're working out. - posted by Elisabeth on 8/7/2008 |

    Fun Core Workout |
| Very thorough and holistic approach to working the abs. A mix of styles including pilates, planks, traditional ab work on a mat, standing abs and stability ball abs. It has a functional fitness orientation that is very impressive to me because many of the exercises incorporate balance and real life movements. I exercise regulary and consider myself high intermediate. I was very satisfied with the intensity. It is very customizable like the ten minute solutions. You can get in an ab workout whether you have just 5 minutes or can work longer. I frequently do 3 to 4 segments. - posted by Ellen on 8/7/2008 |

A good warm up, but where's the workout? |
| I really liked Tracey's first core workout and was looking forward to this one. It turned out to be a huge disappointment. The standing work was uninspired and could barely be considered a warm up, and things didn't improve after that. Core Blast had none of the intensity of Core Strength and Conditioning. I got the feeling that Tracey decided to reduce the intensity of this one to appeal to a wider audience, but in doing so didn't please anyone. - posted by Wanda on 8/6/2008 |

    I agree with Tamar |
| Like the other DVDs in this latest series from Tracey, this *sounded* like a good workout, but didn't live up to her hype. What's the point of using all that equipment for only five minutes each time? If you want to work your abs hard, you need to pick a different DVD than this one! - posted by Carolyn on 8/5/2008 |
